Brooklyn Trails
An Outdoor Arts Summer Camp in Prospect Park
With nature as our canvas, our mixed-media art camps in Prospect Park create a playful sanctuary for young artists. Children learn through creative expression, outdoor exploration, and a sense of stewardship for the natural world around them.
In our mixed-age summer camp, children experience art-making and nature play within a community that values kindness, curiosity, cooperation, and thoughtful expression. Our program invites them to explore new ideas, ask big questions, and practice creative problem-solving with the confidence to think differently and color outside the lines.
Designed for ages 4 to 7, Brooklyn Trails goes beyond traditional art classes. Children build autonomy, collaboration skills, self-reliance, and healthy conflict resolution through hands-on mixed-media projects, magical scavenger hunts and outdoor play. We believe children deserve a voice in their learning, and our nature-based programming encourages active participation in group decisions so every child feels heard and included.
Our art projects allow children to explore in meaningful ways, gain confidence, develop new skills, and take creative risks while learning to value the process over the product.
Through thoughtful guidance and open-ended projects, we cultivate curiosity, inclusivity, and leadership. Join our forest camp community this summer as we create a welcoming outdoor art studio in Prospect Park where every child can grow, connect, and thrive.
