A Different Kind of Play Class
We create thoughtfully prepared play environments filled with open-ended materials, natural objects, and repurposed everyday treasures.
Rather than demonstrating what materials are meant to do, we give children the freedom to discover their possibilities for themselves.
Child-led exploration: Children choose what interests them and how they want to play.
Open-ended materials: Natural, recycled, and everyday objects invite endless possibilities for creativity and discovery.
Learning through repetition: Children build understanding, confidence, and new skills by experimenting and revisiting experiences.
Time and space: We allow children to become absorbed in their play without unnecessary interruption or direction.
The materials are prepared by adults. The experience is created by children.
Growing Together
Over ten weeks, the same small group of babies and caregivers gathers to play, explore, and grow together.
For babies, these gatherings offer an early opportunity to observe and become comfortable alongside other children. For caregivers, they offer time to connect, share observations, and build community during the early years of parenthood.
We encourage caregivers to slow down, follow their child's lead, and notice what captures their curiosity. There is no need to demonstrate, direct, or correct. Children are capable of discovering things for themselves.
